Eastern Churches Journal
This ecumenical publication appears three times per
year and contains articles on the history, theology, liturgy, spirituality,
and ecumenical dialogue of the Eastern Churches, both Catholic and
Orthodox. It provides a forum for members of all Eastern Churches
to learn from each other's traditions and help foster cooperation
and love. It also contains book reviews, documents, and an extensive
Chronicle of current events around the world.
Orientale Lumen Conference
An annual conference is held, usually in
Washington, D.C., where lay persons and clergy gather from the Roman
Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Eastern Catholic traditions. Each
conference includes formal talks by theologians and experts, prayer
and liturgical services from various traditions, and opportunities
for informal conversation. Proceedings of the major talks are published
after each conference and available from the Society. |
